Kirsten and David dreamed of a wedding day that felt like stepping into a flower-filled summer estate—with just a touch of Bridgerton romance. Pastel blooms, romantic lavender details, and soft garden-inspired touches brought their vision to life at The Manor House in Littleton. Just outside Denver, this historic mansion made travel easy for guests while still delivering those sweeping Colorado Front Range views. The result? Timeless mansion charm, plenty of petals, and mountain wedding photos with a seriously beautiful backdrop.
A Save the Date Worth Displaying
Kirsten and David were all in on The Manor House from the very beginning. They wanted their save the date to introduce guests to the setting behind their celebration and show off the venue’s timeless charm before the invitation even arrived. We created a custom watercolor illustration of the historic mansion’s classic white façade. Then we took a little artistic liberty: a lush front lawn overflowing with whimsical wildflowers in soft, pastel shades. The final design felt romantic, personal, and perfectly aligned with their flower-filled wedding vision.
Here’s a Tip: Custom artwork is one of the best ways to elevate your wedding stationery. Venue sketches, watercolor landscapes, pet portraits, or map illustrations typically range from $400–$1000, depending on the level of detail. If custom art is high on your wish list, bring it up to your wedding stationery designer early so there is plenty of room for painting, revisions, and printing.
Bringing The Manor House to Life in Print
For their wedding invitation suite, Kirsten and David wanted to show The Manor House in its full Colorado setting. We again commissioned an artist to sketch the venue, this time incorporating the foothills and sweeping scenery that surround the estate. From there, specialty print treatments brought every layer of the artwork to life.
The upper portion of the invitation was letterpress printed in a custom soft blue ink, giving the typography a beautifully tactile finish. A blind stamp created the rolling foothills and landscape around the venue. The Manor House itself became the star of the card through an exceptionally detailed sculpt emboss, capturing all of its stately architectural details.
Their RSVP card and rehearsal dinner invitation added more pastel color to the suite. Both were digitally printed on colored cardstock chosen to coordinate with the wedding palette. Everything was then wrapped in translucent vellum and finished with a custom wax seal featuring Kirsten and David’s initials—a polished finishing touch for their guests.
Lavender Blooms and Manor House Charm
Kirsten and David’s wedding day felt like a pastel garden party inside a historic Colorado mansion. Lavender blooms, soft greenery, and elegant details carried their Bridgerton-inspired vision from one space to the next.
Outside, cascading flowers framed the couple during their ceremony and the Colorado foothills made a beautiful backdrop. Inside, chandeliers overflowed with greenery and trailing blooms. A wisteria-covered fireplace set a dramatic scene behind the head table.
Guests first arrived in the mansion foyer, where a custom calligraphy welcome sign greeted them. It was surrounded by lush lavender and white florals to set the tone right away: romantic, joyful, and delightfully flower-filled.
Playful Paper and Signage for the Reception
First came the seating chart. Each reception table was named for a pet, then paired with a custom watercolor portrait. Think top hats, pearl necklaces, bowties, and plenty of personality. The illustrated pets gave guests a charming way to find their seats, and added a playful nod to Kirsten and David’s love story.
The pet portraits continued as table numbers. Each card sat among soft florals, candlelight, and crisp white linens. It was a small detail with a big presence.
At every place setting, a layered menu greeted each guest by name. Lavender name cards sat with pale green dinner menus, adding soft color against the mostly white tablescape. Kirsten and David decided to tie the layered cards together using the same wax seals with the couple’s initials from their wedding invitation suite. Behind the menu, each purple card revealed a heartfelt thank-you note from Kirsten and David. A sweet surprise before dinner began.

Designing with Kirsten and David from their save the date through the final day-of details was such an inspiring experience. Their stationery told one cohesive story: The Manor House, soft pastels, lush florals, and a playful touch of Bridgerton romance.
Kirsten and David stayed true to their vision from the beginning. Every piece felt connected, personal, and full of joy. By the wedding day, their flower-filled mansion celebration looked exactly like the world they had imagined from the start.
